Eric Ford, MD

Eric Ford (Idaho) is originally from Tennessee where he first began research in blood flow modulation and islet transplantation in diabetes mellitus at Vanderbilt . He came to the University of Washington to obtain his BS in Bioengineering and worked at the Infectious Disease Research Institute. Eric returned to Vanderbilt as a research assistant in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics exploring downstream effects of stress.  He is currently a medical student at the University of Tennessee where he has traveled as a volunteer medical liaison to Quito, Ecuador and worked in a student run clinic for nonEnglish speaking underserved patients.  He enjoys soccer, rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, ping pong, and international travel.
