Eric Ford, MD

Eric Ford (Idaho) is originally from Tennessee where he first began research in blood flow modulation and islet transplantation in diabetes mellitus at Vanderbilt. He came to the University of Washington to obtain his BS in Bioengineering and worked at the Infectious Disease Research Institute. Eric returned to Vanderbilt as a research assistant in Molecular Physiology and Biophysics exploring downstream effects of stress.  While in medical school, he traveled as a volunteer medical liaison to Quito, Ecuador and worked in a student run clinic for non-English speaking underserved patients.  He enjoys soccer, rock climbing, skiing/snowboarding, ping pong, and international travel.
